    Pressure Note.--The high pressure over eastern Australia has worked northwards and contracted considerably. This movement has allowed the Antartic disturbance, which earlier in the week promised rain over our southern and western districts, to advance about 600 miles. It now covers an area from Perth to Fowler's Bay, and still looks promising for rain towards the end of the week. The tropical disturbance which yesterday was off New Caledonia has moved south-east ward, and is a little to the N.E. of Norfolk Island, Conditions point to a few clearing showers on the north coast, but otherwise fine, and becoming unsettled, with sin, in the south-western districts by Friday. ...
