THE MOMENT OF TRIUMPH.—Just before the rain came the school children who gave their display on the M.C.C. ground on Saturday had formed the big[?] Jubliee—1872-1922. It was the moment of triumph after many weeks of careful training, and a burst of applausetravelled round the area from the thousands of parents who had come to see their little ones. Then there was a growl of thunders, and in a few minutes a deluge of rain. The children ran for shelter, but few of them reached it before thoroughly wet. Even the rain failed to wipe their smiles out, as is shown by the photo on the right. Those on the left are slightly bedraggled, but bearing up under [?] ... [ILLUSTRATED]
