    VICTORIA'S JUNIOR SWIMMING CHAMPIONS HOLD AUSTRALIAN RECORDS.—Miss Lella Casbolt, of the Brunswick Swimming Club and Alan Crawford, of Y.M.C.A. Swimming Club, are shown in Action. Both have made considerable improvement this summer, because of their adoption of coaching mthods brought to Victoria by Councillor Frank Beaurepaire after he had seen the Japanese swimmers in action at the Olympiad at Los Angeles. Miss Casbolt, who is a protege of Mr. H. Hazeldene, has improved from 74 seconds for 100 yards to 67 2-5 seconds, which is an under 16 years junior record for Australia. Crawford's time for yards is now 3-5 seconds, a male junior record for Australia, and an improvement in one summer of 5 seconds. Messrs. Beaurepaire and Morris, the honorary coaches of the Victorian Amateur Swimming Association, expect further improvement from both swimmers next summer, particularly as both are in ... [ILLUSTRATED]
