    THE ATTACK ON AND CAPTURE OF THE PIMPLE, mountain peak dominating Ramu Valley, New Guinea, which rises to 5,700 feet, was a triumph of Allied determination and courage. Described [?] "one-man front" because the ridge top and its approaches were so narrow that only one soldier could fight his way forward at a time, the Japanese positions, seemed almost impregnable.
