Scope and Contents
Correspondence, speeches, cuttings, legal documents and other papers concerning St John's political career and some of his other public activities. The political papers comprise correspondence, cuttings and other material on the 1966 and 1969 general elections and correspondence concerning St John's attack on the leadership of J.G. Gorton in early 1969. Other papers include correspondence on the South Africa Defence and Aid Fund (1963-1964), papers on the HMAS Voyager inquiry (1967-1968), correspondence and cuttings concerning A time to speak (1969) and papers on Henry Fisher and an Iraqi gift of ALP funds (1975).
