Class MS Acc09.040. Original Consignment

Contains field notes, articles, photographs, press cuttings and correspondence relating to the 1948 Arnhem Land expedition and 20 new species described by Specht during that expedition. There are also publications relating to Specht's work on national parks and conservation. In addition, one box of Specht family history material including a proof copy of a related family history publication.

These were selected by Specht because they relate specifically to the lives of Indigenous people in Arnhem Land, and relationships between the Indigenous people and Expedition members.
