Comprises newspaper reviews from 1964-1999, of the Scarfe's publications; photocopies of correspondence from Jayaprakash Narayan, 1958-1971; two handwritten manuscripts of Wendy's novel The day they shot Edward; and, two typescript drafts of No taste for carnage: Alex Sheppard, a portrait 1913-1997, one annotated in pencil.

The instalment also comprises work books for Wendy's novels: Fishing for strawberries, Jershua Braddon, Painter and The day they shot Edward; a handwritten manuscript of All that grief, co-authored by Wendy and Allan and sources for the Roper-Scarfe biography of Percy Brookfield, Tibor's Titan. Also included is material relating to various biographies and manuscripts of Allan's story Time divides us all.
