Death Of Dr. Frank
Willcox
Dr. Frank M. Willcox, of
Hawkers rd., Medindie, who died
on September 6, was the eldest son
of Mr. Charles Willcox—one-time
member of Parliament and Mayor
of Adelaide—and was born at Wel
lington square. North Adelaide.
Dr. Willcox attended St. Peter's
College for a short period, but re
ceived his early schooling mainly at
Whinham and Hahndorf Colleges.
He was a contemporary of Sir An
gas Parsons and Mr. George Me-
Bwin.
He held the degree of MD of
Edinburgh (1913) and Adelaide
(1919) Universities. After com
pleting his medical course, he prac
tised in Edinburgh for about 14
years, and returned in 1913 to
Adelaide, where he practised until
eight years ago.
He served in Great War 1., after
which he did post graduate work
in England and on tte Continent.
His widow was formerly Miss
Mary Veitch. of Edinturgh.
