This collection consists of photographs by Bruce Howard taken to illustrate 'Sheilas : a tribute to Australian women' by John Larkin and Bruce Howard. Through photographs and essays Larkin and Howard present a profile of 1970's Australian women from varying backgrounds and professions. The women were interviewed and photographed in their own settings to show the reality of their lives, whether successful and famous, disadvantaged, or unknown.
