A carbon copy of this document was cut and pasted to make With Love from China - Letters to My Mother, (see item A.3 in this collection), the title first chosen for a book.

The second title chosen was China - The Clear Mirror (since it showed Australian society so clearly!)

Finally published in November 1973 as China - The New Neighbour (Sydney: Tempo Books). (Note that the Contents page in this publication retains the second title.)
