Biographical / Historical

Dame Frances Margaret (Judith) Anderson (1897-1992) was born in Kent Town, Adelaide. She is know for her theatrical roles Cobra, The Dove, Tea for Three, Strange Interlude, As You Desire Me, Come of Age, Hamlet and Robinson Jeffers' Meda. Anderson worked in both television and film with roles in Blood Money, Rebecca, Hallmark Hall of Fame, Macbeth, The Cradle Song and later Santa Barbara. (Australian Dictionary of Biography)
