The biggest estate on earth: how Aborigines made Australia (File) - Box 28-31(MS Acc21.066)
Research material including QQ Centre, QQ Qld, QQ SA, QQ Tas, QQ Top (End), QQ Vic, QQ WA and Jim Cameron's edit of the full version GF Moore's diary, with disks. As a rough first division Gammage began by filing paper material in folders by state or part-state. These QQ folders are the result. After 4-5 years Gammage formed a very provisional book chapters outline and entered it online. He gave each chapter a QQ number, 1-11. Within each chapter he then gave major subheads a capital letter, A, B, C etc; within each letter a number, 1, 2, 3 etc; if necessary within each number a Roman numeral, i, ii, iii etc; and occasionally within these in turn a lower case letter. Thus a file number might read 5A2ib. Gammage then labelled each paper source with an appropriate file number (sometimes several different file numbers), at the same time transcribing each source extract / possible quote under an appropriate online file number or numbers (there is duplication), and further subdivided these by using online Gammage's original state-based paper divisions.
