Introduction
Scope and Contents
'Motu of Western Sydney' is a Pacific Islands cultural arts and theatre production, produced by Matavai Pacific Cultural Arts and Pelesasa Pictures, with performances by Matavai Pacific Cultural Arts students and tutors; Pelesasa Pictures members; and Sydney based dance groups, choirs, local artists and community groups. Māori, Samoan, Fijian, Hawaiian, Tokelauan and Cook Islander cultures feature in different performances during the production. This collection of photographs captures performances of the production at the Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool, New South Wales in April 2022.
