Tubbo Station, a pastoral station, has extensive frontage of the Murrumbidgee River, with land leased to a solar farm. Established in 1850, the station then covered 200,000 acres and shore 121,800 sheep annually.

The Darlington Point Solar Farm is situated on 2,000 acres of land with a 19km perimeter, housing more than 1 million solar panels. It will provide green energy to over 110,000 homes. At its peak the project provided more than 700 construction jobs including many local to the area.
