Introduction

Scope and Contents

This collection covers ephemera produced for the Australian federal election campaigns held between 1920 and 1929; including the federal elections of 16 December 1922, 14 November 1925, 17 November 1928 and 12 October 1929. As well as the following by-elections: Kalgoorlie (18 December 1920), Parramatta (10 December 1921), and Martin (16 June 1928). The collection covers mainly printed materials issued by the parties and lobby groups for both Houses of Parliament. The range of ephemera includes leaflets, flyers, cards, booklets and one bound volume.
