Scope and Contents
This collection covers ephemera produced for the Australian federal election campaigns held in 1946; as well as the following by-elections: Fremantle (18 August 1945), Wimmera (9 February 1946), Henty (30 March 1946) and material for the Australian Labor Party Senate selection ballot (1 August - 1 October 1945). The collection covers mainly printed materials issued by the parties, independents and lobby groups for both Houses of Parliament. The range of ephemera includes leaflets, flyers, letters, and envelopes.
