Introduction

Scope and Contents

This collection covers ephemera produced for the Australian federal election campaign held in 1949; as well as material for the Australian Labor Party Senate selection ballot (14 January - 28 February 1949). The collection covers mainly printed materials issued by the parties and independents for both Houses of Parliament. The range of ephemera includes leaflets, flyers, letters, cards, booklets and envelopes.
