Scope and Contents
This collection covers ephemera produced for the Australian federal election campaign of 1961. It also includes ephemera relating to the La Trobe by-election of 9 April 1960, the Balaclava by-election of 16 July 1960, the Bendigo by-election of 16 July 1960 and the Higinbotham by-election of 10 December 1960. The collection covers mainly printed materials issued by the parties, independents, and lobby groups for both Houses of Parliament. The range of ephemera includes leaflets, flyers, cards, sheets, newspaper clippings, letters, bound volumes and folders.
