She describes the voyage from Gravesend to Hobart on the Coptic, May-July 1884, life at the Government Houses at Melbourne and Mount Macedon, and visits to Hobart (July 1834), Ballarat (September 1884), Warrnambool (October 1884), Portland (November 1884), Bright (January 1885), Sydney (June 1885), Sale (December 1885), Bairnsdale (December 1885), Hobart (March 1886), Adelaide (July 1886), and Horsham (September 1886).
