Archival History
Material selectively filmed at the National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh, as part of the Australian Joint Copying Project, 1982 (AJCP Reels: M1893-M1895). Original microfilm digitised as part of the AJCP Online Delivery Project, 2017-2020.
The Murray Papers were filmed in two stages, separated by 20 years, and therefore the list is divided into two sections. The first section (pp.2-8) mainly lists papers of Sir Thomas Brisbane and Sir Thomas Mitchell, including a great deal of non-Australian material. There are also some miscellaneous Australian papers. The remaining Australian papers are described in the second section (pp. 8-12).
