Papers 1839-1855 of Sir Walter Trevelyan mainly relating to penal reform and the work of Alexander Maconochie at Van Diemen's Land and Norfolk Island. Correspondents include Mary Maconochie.
Papers 1897-1956 of the Liberal and Labour politician Sir Charles Trevelyan, in particular dealing with his tour of Australia and New Zealand with Sidney and Beatrice Webb 1898-1899 and his interest in industrial arbitration. Correspondents include G. Essex Evans, B.R. Wise, J. Gavan Duffy, E.E. Morris, J.L. Bonython, A. Weigall, R.R. Garran, W.P. Reeves and Ursula Weinmann.
Papers 1907-1936 of the shipowner and Liberal politician Walter Runciman on a wide range of subjects including shipping, Imperial trade, and the 1932 Ottawa Conference. Correspondents include W.F. Massey, T.A. Coghlan, Malcolm MacDonald and Lord Bledisloe.
