Part of William Street, Northbridge, between Newcastle Street and Forbes Road, in the Chinatown district of Perth's downtown, was condoned off to allow for performances, street festival and activities to take place.

The inflatable golden arch was located at the western end of Perth Cultural Centre. The marshalls were standing at the entrance to the festival to ensure that the crowd checked in using the COVID-19 QR code, to support COVID-19 contact tracing during the pandemic.

The lion dance was performed to a large receptive crowd of onlookers in the amphitheatre at the Perth Cultural Centre Plaza.

Three Lions surround the cashiers, hungry for red envelopes containing money during Chinese New Year celebrations at the MCQ Supermarket - 405 William Street, Northbridge in the heart of Chinatown. The performance started at street side before moving inside the supermarket - the lions parading through the aisles and ending up at the check-out where they accepted money for good fortune at the cash registers. The ceremony ended outside - a lettuce being raised for the lions to devour.

The culmination of the Lion Dance during Chinese New Year celebrations at the MCQ Supermarket - 405 William Street, Northbridge in the heart of Chinatown - with a lettuce being raised for the lions to devour, the lettuce representing good luck. The performance started at street side before moving inside the supermarket, the lions parading through the aisles and ending up at the check-out where they accepted money for good fortune at the cash registers.
