Young people aged 8 to 12 years of age are invited to join children's book author Emma Allen for a creative writing workshop these school holidays.
Emma will work with young writers to inspire them and share some useful tips to help writers anywhere to put their story ideas on paper while sharing insights into her own experiences and processes when creating stories.
This workshop is targeted at children aged 8 to 12 years of age, and bookings are essential.
While parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch, each person who will be participating in this workshop will require a ticket.
About Emma Allen
Emma Allen is an Australian author and creator of books for young people. Emma’s books have been awarded many accolades including her debut book The Terrible Suitcase, which was awarded the CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year 2013 and was Shortlisted WA Premier’s Book Awards. Emma’s other works include Grandma, the Baby and Me, My Friend Ernest, Digby and Claude, The Night of the Hiding Moon, and The Great Book-Swapping Machine.
